Sponsored by Wells Fargo, the Teddy Roosevelt Oregon Roadshow brings famed Teddy reprisor Joe Wiegand to schools and historical societies across the state. In 2012, Wiegand entertained and educated Oregonians of all ages in his premiere tour of the state. He traveled more than 1,000 miles and made presentations in 12 cities, from Portland to Prineville.
The tour was such a success that OHS and Wells Fargo decided to make the Roadshow an annual event. Since the roadshow's inception, Joe has traveled over 5,000 miles across our great state, entertaining audiences of all ages in every corner of Oregon.

About Joe Wiegand
Joe Wiegand is regarded as our nation’s premier Theodore Roosevelt reprisor. A political science graduate of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, Joe was a Harry S. Truman Scholar and Thomas Watson Fellow in his college days. After a twenty-five year career in politics and public policy, Joe began to tour the country as Theodore Roosevelt.
In 2008, to celebrate Theodore Roosevelt's 150th birthday, Joe, his wife, Jenny, daughter, Sam, and golden retriever, Faith, toured the 50 states. Their travels culminated with a performance in the East Room of the White House for President and Mrs. Bush on T.R.'s birthday.
Since then, Wiegand has been bringing T.R. to life with his unparalleled grasp of history and uncanny resemblance to the twenty-sixth president. His depth of knowledge about the personal anecdotes in Roosevelt's life make his audiences feel they are truly in the presence of the former U.S. president and adventurer.Learn more about Teddy at http://teddyrooseveltshow.com/.
