Oregon Historical Society members and their guests are invited to an opening celebration for our newest original exhibition, Nevertheless, They Persisted: The Nineteenth Amendment and Women's Voting Rights. One hundred years after the ratification of the nineteenth amendment (which granted women the right to vote), the exhibit shows the many ways Oregon history connects to the national history of woman suffrage and to the complex history of democracy in the United States.
Enjoy drinks and appetizers, a brief program, and a preview of the exhibition before it opens to the public.
