Literary Arts announces Wordstock: Portland’s Book Festival presented by Bank of America. The Festival takes place November 11th, 2017 from 9 am-6 pm at the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Historical Society, and neighboring venues in downtown Portland, Oregon.

With 100+ authors and 70+ vendors readers of all ages in Oregon and beyond will see old and new favorites this November at the Pacific Northwest’s largest celebration of books.

2017 authors will include Ta-Nehisi Coates, Lidia Yuknavitch, Jeffery Eugenides, Claire Messud, Jenny Han, Lemony Snicket, Tom Perrotta, Danez Smith, Adam Gopnick, Kaveh Akbar, Gabrielle Bell, Javaka Steptoe, Mac Barnet, Carson Ellis, Omar El Akkad, David Grann, and many more!

The festival features author readings and discussions for book lovers of all ages, 15 adult and youth writing workshops, a book fair, food vendors, and pop-up events throughout the day. There is also a robust indie bookseller presence including Powell’s Books, Green Bean Books, and Broadway Books.
