The OHS Exhibit “High Hopes:  The Journey of John F. Kennedy” has led many Oregonians to recall the time when they met JFK, or to remember how he inspired them to join the Peace Corps, or where they were and how they felt when they heard of his assassination.  These memories are important pieces of our collective history that deserve to be shared. This special OHS program, hosted by OHS Executive Director Kerry Tymchuk, opens up the microphone to our audience. Join us to tell the stories of JFK that made you laugh or cry—and above all, that gave you hope!

Kerry Tymchuk has served as Executive Director of OHS since May 2011.  Prior to that, Kerry spent 25 years in the political arena, serving as a top aide and advisor to United States Secretary of Labor Elizabeth Dole, United States Senator Bob Dole, and United States Senator Gordon Smith.  A native of Reedsport, Oregon, Kerry is a 5th generation Oregonian, and is a graduate of Willamette University and Willamette University College of Law.
