Gheorghe Borceau
 

Gheorghe Borcea was born in Bucharest, Romania. At the age of five years, his father taught him the basics of the accordion. His mother was also a great influence as she taught him songs that she had learned from her father. Gheorghe learned primarily by ear and is a master of the many regional styles of Romanian music. He furthered his musical skills while attending Scoala Populará de Artá. Gheorghe has received awards at competitions in both the United States and Canada.
