Alex Muktoyuk is an Inupiaq, Alaskan native, born and raised on King Island in the Bering Strait. He leads the Northwest Inupiaq Dancers group that performs traditional dances he learned as a boy.

Northwest Inupiaq Dancers
In this performance of Inupiaq traditional dance and music, seven dancers perform to live music and wear the traditional dance outfits. Alex introduces the history of each song and dance performed, and translates the words.
